Stereo Naked cover a mixture of genres, dishing up everything from American Roots music to experimental indie pop. Lyrics and music are set to clash and surprise: cheery yodelling with a side order of existentialism, tongue-in-cheek murder ballads, hip-hop licks delivered bluegrass style. The raw acoustic warmth of bass and banjo adds depth and dark humour to a folk ambiance.
Stereo Naked is a songwriting collaboration between New Zealand-born double bass player Pierce Black and singer and banjo player Julia Zech, who splits her time between Cologne and Paris.This year they’re celebrating the release of their first album „Roadkill Highway“
